To encourage a pragmatic reexamination of 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' through constant education and exposure as to the realities of the law and those that serve under it.

Servicemembers United (SU) - a non-profit, non-partisan organization - is the nation's largest organization of gay and lesbian troops and veterans and the straight allies who support their service. SU strives to give those actually impacted by "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" a leading role in the debate surrounding the fate of the ill begotten policy and to hasten the policy's demise.

1. Through discharge of highly specialized personnel during a severe recruitment draught, DADT is detrimental to national security.
