The Veggie Van Organization is a non-profit, non-partisan organization, founded in 1997 (and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in 2008) as an instrument to move America and the rest of the world
toward sustainable energy through education, outreach and film.

The Veggie Van Organization educates people about sustainable energy through hands on demonstrations and talks, through film and multimedia projects and through educational materials. We combine cutting-edge research, media-based entertainment and pop culture to make sustainable energy cool. We seek to entertain people first, to show simple pathways for them to use sustainable energy second and then to invite them to take action around sustainable energy.

We are outreach professionals, educators and specialists in high-technology communication methods. We make learning and action fun, impacting and lasting. Our work is based on communication, partnerships, and the belief that a sustainable future for human beings is attainable.

Guided by these principles, we provide a fundamental language for understanding sustainable energy, we bring sustainable energy content to individuals, schools, organizations and businesses, and we support the transition of communities, states and nations to green energy.
