Fighting extreme poverty through Healthcare, Education, Housing, Enterprise Development, and Leadership is the mission of the Global Tribe
Global Tribe Creed: To safeguard the helpless and do them no harm; to show courage on behalf of those who can’t defend themselves.
James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress...
We Can’t Donate People Out of Poverty. We must stop exporting welfare. Welfare alone enslaves, likely for generations. With your help Global Tribe moves the poorest of the poor out of a welfare dependency into a life of sustainability.
From the very beginning, Global Tribe was birthed out of a passion to bring aid, relief, and sustainability for the poorest of the poor – widows and orphans. This mission is executed in three distinct ways:
Providing emergency relief for those in peril and critical distress, stabilizing the person to enable them to grow to individual sustainability; the primary focus is single mothers and their children.
Providing training and education to the poor, especially single mothers, teaching them a vocation, life skills, and hygiene, which lays the foundation for sustainability. Moreover, once trained, equipping the individual through micro-loans to accomplish what they are trained to do to earn a living.
Providing both the environment and the substance to teach leadership through life experience as well as mentoring, teaching thinking and reasoning skills, and strategies for effective leadership.
1. While sponsoring a child in poverty is noble, we believe that adoting a single mother and her children impacts the whole family
2. There are so many children in poverty because 900 million mothers live on less than $1 a day
3. Sustainability comes through stabalizing the emergency needs of the mother and children, education for a trade, and investment to equip her.
4. We do not export welfare, rather, provide opportunity to live self-sufficient.
