A Domestic Violence Shelter to provide support, prevent violence, and promote justice for women and their children in order to escape domestic violence.

MARYS (Ministry Alliance for Regaining Your Safety) House is a domestic violence shelter for Pickens County that provides immediate shelter for women and children at the hands of a violent partner, as well as a home and faith-based community to equip them to get back on their feet. Individuals, churches, law enforcement agents, and service organizations collaborated to build Mary’s House as a safe haven for women and their children who felt trapped in their lives of hurt, violence, and isolation. Over the past year MARYS House has assisted over 95 women through this traumatic time in their lives.
MARYS House also has a vision for the youth of our community—that they would not have to face the same situations, and MARYS House also hosts a teen dating violence awareness program to reach teenagers through both faith-based and secular programs and dramas. Through your continued support MARYS House can continue to provide shelter, food, clothing, mentoring opportunities, bible studies, job skills training, counseling, legal services, and support for any woman who knocks on our door. Thank you for your partnership in this cause.
