Paula Cooper: A second chance (this is the girl who killed my grandmother

First of a series

The plight of Paula Cooper resonated from Glen Park to the Vatican in 1986 after she was sentenced to death for a murder she admitted committing -- at the age of 15. No longer on death row, Cooper is in line to walk free one year from this week.

Today's story is the first in a series of reports over the next year that look at Cooper's case and the many effects on people, institutions and the law it has had and continues to have.

Coming in August: The story of Ruth Pelke and her grandson Bill
