Meningitis Angels is a 501(C) (3) nonprofit, publicly supported organization founded in memory of Ryan Wayne Milley and dedicated to others whose lives were taken or left debilitated by meningitis and their families.

All donations through Cause enable us to provide help and services to our Angels, educational materials to all including public and private schools, colleges health care providers, media and more.

Bacterial Meningitis, like many vaccine preventable diseases can be deadly. It obeys no boundaries of race, age, economic level, social status or geography. However; some age groups, races, and geographic areas are at a higher risk than others.

We work hard to prevent meningitis and to support our Angels through our organization and by networking with other patient organizations.

Along with these same organizations and public health we help to make sure that immunizations are available and accessible to those who need them. We offer an updated and very detailed website containing the latest information and news about meningitis and several great patient resources.

We invite you to learn more about this deadly disease, to conduct research on meningitis, and to read about the after effects through our website.

We invite survivors, their families, and those who have lost loved ones, to become a part of our Angel family.

Please explore our web site for all of the latest information on bacterial meningitis. www.meningitis-angels.org

1. The two leading forms of vaccine preventable bacterial meningitis in the US are meningococcal and pneumococcal.

2. Don't be fooled, college freshmen living in dorms are not the only ones who should be vaccinated against meningitis. Infants, children and teens are also at high risk.

3. No child or adult should die from any vaccine preventable disease.
