About

Liberty Day is a nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating 5th graders about the U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence.

In early June, Liberty Day is planning to host a group of actual 5th grade teachers and school district social studies coordinators to meet and discuss ways in which we can best introduce 5th graders to the U.S. Constitution using Liberty Day materials and developing new and engaging tools for students.

As part of this unique event, Liberty Day wants to provide teachers with the opportunity to hear insights from keynote speaker, the esteemed Dr. Tom Krannawitter, on the crucial subject, "Why Have a Constitution?"

Yes, you read that right:real teachers and social studies facilitators will hopefully get the chance to hear Dr. Krannawitter talk about the U.S. Constitution!

In order to hold this gathering and make it a success, we need your help to raise up to $1,500 in tax-deductible contributions to help cover the full cost of the event, including speaker fees, teacher stipends, and venue costs.
