Gwinnett County Animal Control, along with the Georgia House Rabbit Society, took in 200 pet rabbits from traveling petting zoo where the rabbits were allowed to breed out of control.   Despite news reports, the rabbits have syphilis and mites, many have ear mites, bot flies, injuries, sore hocks, missing fur, etc. one had a mass and one had a horrific eye injury that destroyed his eye. Many of the rabbits are underweight.

The rescues need our help!

Plea from GA rabbit rescues:

The "Grayson 200" rabbits are still in need!! A dedicated group of volunteers have been feeding, vetting, and watering them while they're living temporarily at Gwinnett Animal Control. Transport can be arranged to licensed rescues!
