The issue that is being discussed

is Water Pollution, Water pollution is the contamination of waterbodies, usually as a result of human activities. Waterbodies include for example lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and groundwater.

My Specific Goal is to engage the viewer in what is happening around the world and the effects of the cause.

The campaign is important because it is effecting peoples health and putting people at high risk maybe even death.

At
the moment Freshwater in the world is only 2.5% of the total water available on this planet. To make sure the water you drink is clean, use a water filter on your refrigerator. Around 70% of the industrial waste is dumped into the water bodies where they pollute the usable water supply. At least 320 million people in China do not have access to clean drinking water. Fourteen billion pounds of garbage mostly plastic, is dumped into the ocean every year. 15 million children under the age of five die each year because of diseases caused by drinking water.

The first key reason from my
research is main cause of water pollution globally.

This means what is the most predominant issue and the cause of the water pollution around the world.

A fact that proves my point well is that the sewage and wastewater that is produced by each household is chemically treated and released into the sea with fresh water. The sewage water carries harmful bacteria and chemicals that can cause serious health problems.

This links back to the topic of water pollution and explains my argument on this research.

My second key point is the
effect it has on humans.

This means how it can effect humans with their health and daily living standards.

A fact that can back up my point Water-borne diseases account for the deaths of 3,575,000 people a year! That’s equivalent to a jumbo jet crashing every hour, and the majority of these are children

This links back to my argument because it effects humans health and wellbeing, it can lead to many diseases and even cause death to humans.

Finally the last key point that
im using to back up my research is the effect it has on animals and the environment

This means that it effects our animals health and conditions, its effecting our environment with producing chemicals and all sorts.

This fact is a very interesting one, Sometimes pollution affects the entire food chain. Small fishes absorb pollutants, such as chemicals, into their bodies. Then bigger fishes eat the smaller fishes and get the pollutants too. Birds or other animals may eat the bigger fishes and be harmed by the pollutants. One example of this was the use of the insecticide (bug killer) DDT. When birds of prey ate fishes that were infected with it, they would lay eggs with thin shells. The population of birds of prey began to drop until DDT was banished.

This links back to my point because it explains what its doing to our animals because pollution can affect our foodchain.

In order for things to be able to
change we got to be able to work together as a community and aware the issue as much as we can and get the word around so people know why and whats happening in our community.

Action needs to be taken because pollution is killing our people, animals and environment which is affecting everyone.

In conclusion water pollution is KILLING US! Its affecting everyones health by drinking tap water or showering it contains lots of chemicals, carries dieseases which are life threating this is why we need to work together to be able to stop this human killer and we need everyone on board to be succeed in this campaign.
