We are in business to help change lives: TOMS has given over 10 million pairs of shoes to children and helped restore sight to over 150,000 people. Currently TOMS gives in over 60 countries worldwide – including the United States.

By the end of 2014, over 1 million new TOMS Shoes will reach children living in underserved communities in more than 35 states. We provide our U.S. Giving Partners (NGOs) with three types of shoes based on their programs and areas of operation: Canvas Classics, Sports Shoes and Winter Boots.

New TOMS Shoes are distributed by our Giving Partners, who integrate them into their larger plans for health, education and self-esteem. By offering different shoe styles, we are able to tailor our giving towards greater impact. Winter Boots provide protection for harsh winters and Sports Shoes support programs geared towards physical activity.

Our Sight Giving services are provided in three states: California, New Mexico and New York. TOMS Eyewear customers have helped give new prescription glasses to schoolchildren throughout these states, supporting and empowering their education.

In the U.S., nearly 2 million children suffer from uncorrected visual impairment issues every year – making it more difficult to focus in school. TOMS U.S. Sight Giving Partner, Helen Keller International, visits schools in underserved communities to provide visual screenings, eye exams and with TOMS support, free new glasses. Children even get to pick their own frames – thick square-rimmed have been a very popular choice recently.
