About the campaign to

The Dirty Leaf Club

The Dirty Leaf Club is a community gardens project offers assistance to 240 women and their children residing in a transitional living shelter. These women and children are given the opportunity to come together to grow a variety of seasonal vegetables, fruits and herbs. The benefits of this project extend far beyond the economic and nutritional values with the promotion of social interaction, personal contribution, and a sense of belonging and unity as various ethnicities and races come together to prepare the soil, plant the seeds, tend the garden and share in the harvest.
