The U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate have introduced legislation that will help strength the strategic and invaluable partnership between the United States and Israel as turmoil in the region rises. The United States-Israel Strategic Partnership Act of 2013 designates Israel a "major strategic partner" of the United States, which will help the United States maximize the benefits of an already strong and productive partnership with Israel by expanding cooperation in military, trade, energy and homeland security arenas. These increased connections will enhance the thriving partnership between the United States and Israel, and help confront new threats and challenges in the Middle East.
Please pledge your support and take a moment to weigh in with your senators and representatives and encourage them to fully support and co-sponsor the United States-Israel Strategic Partnership Act of 2013.
