* Read major new ecology findings that more old-growth forests have been lost than the biosphere can bear. Two-thirds of Earth's land area - 44% as intact ecological cores, and 22% as agro-ecological buffers and transitions - are proposed as a planetary boundary for terrestrial ecosystems sustainability across scales from landscapes, to bioregions, through continents, to our one shared biosphere. Then commit to protect and expand old-growth forests.
