We will only support candidates for State or local Michigan offices that declare their support of substance abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery and we will actively oppose candidates that do not support our cause. Michigan local elections will start with primaries in August 2013 the general election in November. We have to be ready!

Funding to support the Detroit Department of Health has been eliminated from the proposed City budget by the administration. The budget is now in the hands of City Council and we need answers to how critical services like Substance Abuse and HIV/AIDS will be continued.
