NCADD Sacramento provides family services to residents of Sacramento, Yolo, Placer and El Dorado Counties. We know that when we provide tools to prevent substance abuse, we can have  a dramatic impact on the family and their community.  The Strengthening Families Program is a Model Program through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

The Program is FREE and each session includes dinner, provided by NCADD and served by our volunteers. We provide a relaxed setting for families and encourage positive communication.

The NCADD team is skilled and dedicated to teaching how to:

  • Increase the bonds and communication between families.
  • Encourage positive relationships with peers and family members.
  • Resist peer pressure and manipulation.
  • Prevent the onset of substance abuse in our youth.

Learn more by reading the Strengthening Families Blog, and feel free to distribute this flyer to those who could benefit from this family service.  To learn more about our Faith-based Strengthening Families Program in Sacramento, view this brochure.
