Water is a key ingredient in beer and vital to life on the planet, which is why Budweiser is committed to preserving this natural resource. In our breweries, we’ve reduced our water use by 40% over the last five years; that is more than 7.5 billion gallons of water or nearly 11,500 Olympic-sized swimming pools!

Our employees and their families volunteer their time every year to improve rivers, lakes, and beaches in communities across the country. Additionally, Budweiser has long supported the work of water-conservation partners to protect our nation’s watersheds.

This year, we are uniting these efforts under the Budweiser America Made Better platform and conducting watershed projects in 20 cities across the country. We are working alongside River Network, Living Lands & Waters, Great Lakes Forever and many other local partners and volunteers to clean up rivers, lakes, and beaches, plant trees, remove invasive species, recycle trash removed from the water, and more.

In markets with a Budweiser Made in America party, we are rewarding our volunteers 21 and older with special access to this exclusive event. Our goal is to improve our communities and to reward volunteers for making a difference.

Just as Budweiser has a long history of conserving water and protecting watersheds, we’ve also worked hard over the years to promote the use of a designated driver. In fact, more than 141 million American adults have been or used a designated driver. Additionally, through our support of Folds of Honor we are proud to support military troops and their families across our country.

These are just a few ways that Budweiser is committed to an America Made Better. Join us and together we can do great things.
