Our mission is to provide arts and craft programs for hospitalized children while providing financial assistance for families who can not afford the cost of their child's medical care.

Painting for Cures was formed to help make a difference in the lives of hospitalized children and their families. We provide children with arts and crafts programs at the most crucial time, when they are recovering from serious medical procedures. As an adult being confined to a hospital for just a few days can be difficult task to deal with. You can only imagine how hard it is for child who must spend a prolonged stay away from home. We want to put a smile on their face and help them on their road to recovery. We understand the strain on families with the growing cost of medical expenses. When a child is ill, parents are a part of the healing process. We want to assist them financially when needed so their child can continue to receive the appropriate medical care, and they can focus on being there for their child when they need it the most.

Painting for Cures and Schneider Children’s Hospital

Our current focus is supporting Schneider Children’s Hospital. Many children who are admitted to the hospital are seriously ill and need the hospital's comprehensive spectrum of medical services. Schneider Children’s Hospital offers sophisticated care for the most serious pediatric health problems. Children come to Schneider Children's Hospital from all over the world because of its reputation for excellence in pediatric cancer care, cardiology, digestive disorder treatment and surgery - to name a few. Caring for children includes providing them with a warm, comforting, homelike setting for their treatment. We are dedicated to help them achieve this.
