Maker's Mark is watering down its whiskey to meet demand (I can't image there is much demand for watered down whiskey?). Maker's Mark was 45% alcohol by volume, and according to company literature, the bourbon is now 42% alcohol by volume, a reduction of 6.7%! This is not the recipe that is so steeped in American bourbon tradition. Please sign the petition for Maker's Mark to go back to what made it great in the first place and not water down their product for profit.
