Over the past decade, cybersecurity has emerged as a dynamic, well-paid and future-proofed profession. Yet, the risk from adversaries is increasing in magnitude and complexity, and the skills to manage this risk is falling behind with an industry struggling to identify, attract and retain talent.

Research predicts that demand will outstrip supply by some two million by 2022. The industry needs more innovative thinkers, problem solvers, and effective communicators as well as technicians and intelligence practitioners.

This pledge is an initiative to champion diversity and inclusion within cybersecurity and is part of a strategy for attracting, identifying, and retaining more diverse talent within cybersecurity.
