senate Bill S. Res. 603

Designating the Week Starting on Black Friday as “National Electronic Payments Week”

Argument in favor

Electronic payments play a vital role in America’s economy, and it makes sense for the week beginning on Black Friday to be known as “National Electronic Payments Week.”

This is a pretty ridiculous issue but why not? Congress "not working" is a problem on its own and has nothing to do with small issues like this.

Argument opposed

There’s no reason for Congress to be designating a “National Electronic Payments Week.” Yes, they’re important, but not there’s not enough weeks in the year to recognize everything.

Can we designate a week where Congress actually works?

There are few words fit to print, here at Countable, that describes the inanity of this kind of nonsense from our politicians and bureaucrats!
