Trump is no longer in office. He no longer holds any political power over you. He was intentionally cautious with his language leading up to January 6th, encouraging his followers to revolt. His words that morning did nothing to calm his followers or speak to a peaceful transition. He demanded that they march and get to the ones who needed "encouragement" to make the right decisions.
Your decision to vote against the impeachment proceedings is an act of cowardice and doesn't acknowledge the problems he has created in our society. I would appreciate you doing your elected duty to protect your constituents and vote for full impeachment removing his privileges as a former president. You should be as enraged as I am about the heinous acts on January 6th, especially with a constituent who took part in defiling OUR capital building.
