The U.S. should not hesitate to demonstrate it's unwavering support of our allies and the transatlantic partnership as they face a clear and growing threat from the Russian Federation. Failing to reassure our allies leaves an opening for further Russian aggression and the very real possibility of the next European war.
I can't believe there isn't more activity around this. Russia interfered with a democratic country's election process. How is there not more outrage? Seems like common sense to me - of course there should be sanctions.
Yes, we should penalize anyone in Russia who can be identified as having participated in any sort of espionage or interference with our elections. Seizing assets and imposing penalties makes it so those who would interfere with our elections can not also invest their money here and earn a profit from it.
I believe the intelligence although the CIA has been wrong before (Iraq). Russia can't get away with breaking international law. We need more stringent sanctions on the Russian government and Russian oligarchs. Pursuing the oligarchs is much more effective I believe.
Yes! As a constituent, I much appreciate all support of sanctions against Russia. Clearly, this country is interfering with the sovereignty of neighboring countries and has acted inappropriately with regard to our national elections.
