As someone who works in chemical manufacturing, I can assure you we already know what "extremely hazardous" means, because we take extraordinary steps to protect our employees from anything even remotely harmful. We don't need the additional definition; defense lawyers do.

This further limits the EPA's ability to regulate, in this case against dirty energy. The EPA is clearly pushing towards renewable, these energy company dinosaurs need to adapt or die. They are the reason we're still so energy dependent and they're bad for the environment.

We need to dismantle the EPA. This,is an agency that has munch too much discretionary authority. Let the states regulate this, and slim down the FedGov.
The EPA should be abolished this was a good idea until this government started using it as a tool to defend the political views of the government not it's people. It's like this no one in the EPA is elected and is giving the power to make laws therefore it is unconstitutional only congress can do this! But being the sheeple that we are congress has not the power or the right of delegation of constitutional duties that they were elected to oversee. This is the same thing they continue to do with other agencies such as the IRS,DHS,DOJ,FBI,TSA,CIA,NSA and FEDERAL RESERVE!
Sometimes when reading these bills, I feel like we just started yesterday. This to me is so basic.
We need stronger regulations when it comes to hazardous chemicals, not lax enforcement.
Why would you want an agency that doesn't follow their own guidelines and who polluted an entire ecosystem be in charge of others? Doesn't make sense and only the federal government would allow this.
Shut down the EPA. Piece by piece if necessary. Let States and local governments protect their environment.
Looks like another GOP attempt to water down already broad language so those who bribe them in big oil and other Industries can get away with endangering more Americans while maximizing profits
EPA needs to be strengthen and given power to enforce, no watered down. How many tragedies do we need before we realize we need more regulation, not less.
