The Northern Rockies ecosystem is an important part of America’s natural history heritage. It should be preserved and protected by designating it as federally designated wilderness. This bill would protect plants, animals and the environment to all Americans’ benefit.
Eliminating federally subsidized development in 23 million acres of Northern Rockies land would hurt multiple states’ economies and workers. Additionally, this bill doesn’t take local opinions and perspectives into consideration, compromising its ability to take context into account.
