Preventing anyone from having access to an abortion is a bad thing. Instead we should make it easier to access one. Also those that are likely to get an abortions are those that can not afford to have a new child. Also those who are on Medicare are among the most vulnerable in our population
That's just ridiculous! Would taxpayers rather pay for a child in the foster system or welfare and medical for the next 18 years instead? People make a smart choice even if your religious views don't agree.
🛎Reproductive rights do NOT fall under oversight of our federal government. This is federal overreach. 💣This violates the US Bill of Rights; separation of church and state. 45 and his lot are imposing their version of Christianity on the American people and pushing it into our legislation. ⚔️This is paramount only to treason and the Supreme Court needs to handle before a huge number of women complain to the UN about gender crimes and take their case to an international 🌎 court as a violation of our human rights.
The Hyde Amendment is one of the most nefarious examples of politicians interfering in women’s health decisions. It specifically – and deliberately – harms low-income people by withholding Medicaid insurance coverage for abortion care.
Every year is a new chance to eliminate this unfair policy. One federal bill – the EACH Woman Act – would put an end to this fight once and for all. This legislation restores abortion coverage for everyone who needs it, regardless of income level.
