Adoption of the archaic Holman Rule undermines the civil service workforce and sets a dangerous precedent for partisan interference. This rule should have been stripped from the resolution before passage.
Details on this are wicked murky. One just says privileged information. I've never seen that before. Since when is congressional discourse done in session off the books? The should not have passed. Shame. Especially Shame on my representative John Katko.
Representative Scott Taylor of VA, you do not represent me. Your yea vote shows that you do not respect Obama's authority as the president, and you did this for political gain. You did not have my vote in November, and if you continue down this road, you can be sure that I will do everything I can to ensure that you are ousted.
"95% of the American public said that protecting national parks for future generations was important and 80% would pay higher federal taxes to ensure the protection and preservation of the National Park System."
