WE need this to work and have to start somewhere. I'm tired of hearing the cost to tax dollars where Obama is either on the golf course or his wife and all her friends go to Spain on my dollar.

We need private companies to run TSA. The workers are depressed, some are disinterested and abusive. But, we do need the TSA system.

Egads! WHO IS PRODUCING THESE TWIC CARDS?! Millions of us rely on ICCs in our credit or debit cards. I haven't seen anything in the news about them not working. It really makes me wonder who got the government contract to produce the TSA's security cards! It reminds me of the ACA's software fiasco. But when you add this card problem to the other problems with the TSA that have made headlines, it's no wonder that Americans want to see the TSA done away with! And just THINK of all the taxpayers' money that we'd save!

There is no such thing as tamper resistant. Don't see what this law accomplishes unless it is meant to direct the TSA to a particular contractor.

Government is already too big. Why should we want them involved in this too.
DHS does not need to exist. Get rid of it and pay down the debt with the money saved by disassembling DHS. We have enough law enforcement already.

TSA should be responsible to make their systems work at no additional cost. The application of continuous Improvement practices will result in better system that cost less.
TSA should rethink its systems and get them right before a roll out. The 911 crisis is long past and being in cc
