This is just to correct a survey error made in 1949 when mapping out the boundary between public and private lands. Nothing to get upset about. I wish this was noted in this app. It took me a while to find that info.
Vote NO to any proposal offering to limit or exploit public lands! These public lands are under government stewardship for the protection and enjoyment of the people. These lands are not for big businesses or government to exploit and make money from.
Vote no on any and ALL public land sales. It is public land! Not yours to sell for profit. Need money for the wall? How about taxing the upper 10% more? Or cutting Secret Service for the grown Trump children and his wife that refuses to live in the White House.
It's a survey issue from the 1940s. Basically, that land was privately owned but a survey called it public. It's been privately owned and privately managed, and this bill just makes that official. Source: http://coloradopolitics.com/tipton-lamborn-polis-public-lands/

National Park destruction goes against all work that Theodore Roosevelt worked hard for more than a century ago. There's also only a finite supply of fossil fuels in addition to being nonrenewable. Wildlife will become extinct and once that happens it will be too late for these defenseless creatures of G-d
Please stop trying to get rid of our Public lands and opening them up to privatizations with BIG BUSINESS! These are OUR lands! Making money has got to stop being the rational for taking these land grabs.

Our public lands and parks are 1) environmental refuges for wildlife, 2) healthy recreation areas for the public, 3) sanctuaries protecting some of our most valuable natural features, which enrich our history and enhance our image. Privatizing these lands for development is among the most mercenary incarnations of capitalism and any immediate benefit will pale in view of the harm done to future generations.
