To direct the Secretary of the Interior to manage the Point Reyes National Seashore in the State of California consistently with Congress' long-standing intent to continue to authorize working dairies and ranches on agricultural property as part of the seashore's unique historic, cultural, scenic and natural values, and for other purposes.
NO! THIS SECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR, AN ENEMY OF ALL THINGS HUMAN, WILL PROBABLY ALLOW ALL OF THE MANURE FROM THE DAIRIES AND FARMS TO GO STRAIGHT INTO WATER SOURCES AND MAKE DRINKING WATER AND THE BEACH UNHEALTHY PLACES TO EVEN VISIT, LET ALONE LIVE!
The elk have been here long before the diaries. Elk have been restored to the area of Point Reyes National Seashore. A healthy habitat along our coast is the best economic boost for the rural region. IF dairies are to remain within preserved public lands they must be able to operate with the surrounding natural environment, otherwise they do not belong there! In recent years Oyster farms within the park have been closed because they are unsustainable with the long term goals of a preserved public space. Intact ecosystems, including the majestic Elk, will sustain us all.
