The hard cider industry has been imbedded in American culture since the days when Americans in the rugged West first learned to cultivate apple orchards. At least for the time being, we aught to support this.

I'd like more cider variety and I believe giving them the right incentives will create more options.

Cider makers shouldn't get tax breaks because they don't know how their product's characteristics can fluctuate (alcohol content or carbonation).

The Tax Code should be eliminated. The Fair Tax concept should be the only tax system in this country.

If the cider industry needs reform, allow the county or state handle it. Can't find what amendment handles this situation. I have found that we can trust the buying public to made sound decisions on what they need or like.

What? The tax code has many other serious issues and those should be focused on first. In fact the entire tax code needs reform with flat tax.
It should be taxed the same as anything that contains alcohol
I think congress needs to get hit with an apple, except instead of thinking about hard cider, they realize all the mistakes they've made and will make in the future.
This is the type of law that makes the tax code so complex and most regular folks can not do their own taxes. We need streamlining,NOT more special cases.
Stop "revising" the tax code. Throw it out, get rid of the IRS and go with flat tax. It is the only "fair" option. The tax system was supposed to go away after we paid for WWII. Guess the Fed got used to the money.
