Halting Regulation Changes in the IRS
Argument in favor
The IRS can’t be trusted in the wake of the targeting scandal, and allowing it to create new regulations while the investigation is ongoing would be irresponsible.

The IRS must be phased out. It's a purely bureaucratic organization witch destroys the individual economic liberties of Americans... By replacing the IRS with a simple flat tax, "We The People" win, not the Federal Government.
Argument opposed
Allowing this bill to pass would prevent the IRS from clarifying its review process for tax-exempt groups, allowing the confusion that created the targeting scandal to persist.

It was proven that the IRS was not "targeting" conservative groups any more than liberal groups in their 501(c) investigations. This is just another "smoke and mirrors" proposal. Congress is far more corrupt than the IRS. Reform, term limits, ethics requirements are needed there first.

Non-elected individuals should never have the ability to crate rules & regulations. They always abuse this privilege. If the rule or regulation truly needs to exist then it should be voted on by our Congressmen & Senators followed by being signed the President. What's the point of voting for them if non-elected pin heads in the various alphabet agencies do the same thing?

There are bona fide non-profits applying for non-profit status. Passing this bill would eliminate a lot of help-groups from helping the American needy. Is this just another way to stop people from helping our neighbors.
No agency should be allowed to make regulations(laws) that are not voted on by Congress. This is an unConstitutional transfer of power and a reduction of the citizenry's right to representation.
The IRS needs a special prosecutor and a big enema. Leaving them in charge of anything in the way of changes is risky.
We can't trust the IRS, they should not be able to make regulations.
