It's our money, and we have a should right to know where it goes. The concept of tax is to "invest" in the government, and it will assist with protection and services. Seeing as many of our dollars underwrite welfare and other programs, the least they could do is tell us where it's going.

Hooray for Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI)! It's always refreshing to see that SOMEONE in the federal government remembers that they're spending OUR hard-earned dollars on OUR federal government! He apparently also realizes that it is in keeping with the highest ideals envisioned by our wise founding fathers that We the People not be ignorant of where our money is going or WHY it is going "there"! The more people who get involved with what goes on in the federal (also state and local) government, the better off we are likely to be. Ignorance, apathy, and complacency are some of FREEDOM's greatest enemies! They're partly why we now have social engineers indoctrinating our children, our military, and society in general with Communist/globalist/atheist ideologies. It also is what has facilitated the infiltration of our nation by Islamic supremacists. We have brains; let's USE them! Nor are we robots, programmed by our masters. We need not simply wring our hands and assume we are powerless to do anything about the corruption, waste, and outright TREASON that goes on in OUR government(s)! It's time for the people of this (once) great nation to also remember that ALL of the blessings we have hitherto enjoyed come from our Creator! We have been bullied, cajoled and coerced into removing God from nearly every public institution and gathering! “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” ‭‭(Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Your iniquities have turned these things away, And your sins have withheld good from you.” ‭‭(Jeremiah‬ ‭5:25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.” (Proverbs‬ ‭3:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” (‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) LET US ONCE AGAIN BE "ONE NATION UNDER GOD", AND HE WILL AGAIN POUR OUT HIS BLESSINGS WITHOUT NUMBER UPON THESE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! To those of you who would cry "separation of church and state," you show your ignorance of our Constitution and our history! You have swallowed the deceptions of the very Communists, atheists, globalists, and other elements of our society who would like to take God's place and exercise dominion over us. The Constitution merely provides insurance that the government shall not elevate ONE set of beliefs and impose it upon those who ascribe to a DIFFERENT set of beliefs. What has transpired, however, is that our government has virtually succeeded in elevating atheism and is actively endeavoring to suppress all expressions of our Judeo-Christian heritage, beliefs, and values! THIS MUST STOP, OR WE WILL END UP LIKE NORTH KOREA, CHINA OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY UNDER THE BOOT OF A DICTATOR!

Great idea. But is it feasible? Can't believe my Federal Government would want me looking under the hood of a private slush fund. But still thinking as a citizen this project would be a valuable project to get those nutrient sucking weeds out of our garden.
