People who want to completely eliminate the TSA are honestly just ignorant. We have seen terrorism in the news almost every single day during the past year. It is evident (and unfortunate) that terror is on the rise, but with America's advanced security systems like the TSA, we have stayed relatively safe in the face of these horrors. Just because we haven't had a major terrorist attack since Orlando (there have been other minor ones) does not mean people are no longer targeting us.

It is clear after the Nice massacre that terrorists are looking for every opening to create chaos and death. The major airports need to be as secure as possible. I suggest creating a list of 'Best Practices' for airports to improve all types of security.

We need to reassess our security measures. The cowardly terrorists have revealed their despicable tactics so we must adjust.

No more TSA involvement. All re-assessment should be done through regional state organizations. Unless, you believe the TSA needs a bigger budget and that really being careless about finding mock bombs less than 5% of the time is enough comfort for yourself while flying.

Waste of money since it should have been taken care of years ago under the first legislation. Homeland security has proven time and time again that they are the last entity to protect us.
Enough with the inept TSA. When the government decides to be serious about airport security, the I'm in. But the current TSA is a disgrace. And before anyone says "oh yea, well it's a federal agency, what do you expect??" I say the federal government put a man on the moon, runs the CIA, built and runs the finest military in the world. This isn't a matter of ability, it's a matter of commitment.
TSA should be abolished. It's nothing more than security theater. Let airport security and local governments secure the airports.
As a FAA licensed Aircraft Mechanic of more than 30 years- I can tell you that No airport is completely secure. We must continuously assess, and refine our system. I never want to see another 9/11.
Building a better Maginot Line only gives us a sense of false security. At this point, our money would be better spent worrying about railroad and metro perimeters than continuing to focus so heavily on airports.
It should be of upmost concern that all flights( and everything that pertains to a safe flight). Very Important to keep America's citizens safe. Just my opinion
How many terrorists plots have they prevented with their current budget.
Bring Israeli experts to design programs for airport and airplane security. Then follow their advice. Members of Congress do NOTHING that is not politically motivated and, therefore, half-baked.
An obvious no-brainer. Considering events around the world. This bill is also low-cost, with TSA funds already in place.
They need to stop being over zealous and aggressive but thorough with out over stepping their actions treating innocent people like criminals
