Should the State Dept. Consider Putting North Korea Back On the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism?

Argument in favor

North Korea has pushed ahead with its nuclear weapons program, behaves in a belligerent manner towards its neighbors, and has supported terror groups like Hezbollah. The rogue state should be put back on the list of state sponsors of terrorism and face related sanctions.

If the evidence backs North Korea aiding and abetting established Terror groups by all means do so. If their nuclear program is a threat to the United States and its allies by all means do so with condemnations and sanctions. These are two distinct issues, and may require actions for each. Stand strong, but clear

Argument opposed

North Korea may be reckless in pursuing a nuclear weapons program and its interactions with neighboring countries, but that doesn’t mean they should be considered a state sponsor of terror. The country was removed from the list as a reward for vowing to stop its nuclear program.

Sadly, I cannot support any actions by the GOP or this administration when there appears corruption to an alarming degree at the top. The President has been under FBI investigation for close to a year and the GOP continues to circle the wagons. The WH lies to us multiple times per day, what is believable?

Once you put Russia on that list, you can add North Korea.

Being run by a crazy dictator does not make them terrorists. This is dangerous. I feel like the Trump administration is just trying to get us closer to war.

I lived in South Korea and from what I picked up North Korea is like a spoiled child. They really pose no threat, and truthfully their government is near collapse. If they attack any nation whatsoever the whole world is pose to strike on them. They have no strength, no resources to attack the US or any nation of that matter. China has stopped backing North Korea, so there isn't much defense for that. All in all North Korea is nothing compared to isis, Russia, or whatever terroristic country, it is a child.

As we sit back to ponder this question on North Korea, how in the he#* did our government overlook a lying, warmongering dictatorship as benign. Who would ever believe, our benevolent Clintons would give China software for ballistic missiles or nuclear reactors to that tiny little communist country north of the 38 parallel whose poor needed electricity for those cold winter nights. Now we have (almost) ICBMs flying over the Sea of Japan and atomic bomb development. So why couldn't our State Department see this coming. Answer: liberal progressivism. Now we have China claiming atolls in the north and south China Seas, Japan talking militarism and South Korea is beefing up its border with North Korea. So yes, add fat Kim to the terrorism list. However, kinda late to the game, but I hear that the Trumptrain is non-stop. Let us also not forget pastors spreading love instead of hate or college students imprisoned for removing a memento. Guess they will have scars or remembrance of their visit.

This should be a no-brainer for every single member of our government! North Korea should stay on that list until that evil maniac in power is removed through either natural (death) or political (coup) means or by force (assassination)!

Sometimes i think this administration is trying to antagonize North Korea so they will declare war on us and be able to (a) justify this budget & (b) have some sort of chance of Trump not looking like a horrible president because people tend to oversimplify and unite in times of war....and really the only way he is going to deliver on the unity promise is if he creates a common enemy....to do that, though, he has to push someone to declare war on us. So - I don't trust it.

If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that North Korea has no desire to play nice with the rest of the world and that Kim Jong Un is willing to export WMDs to kill what he perceives as threats to his reign. I have no taste for war, but this country is a dystopian state. It's too bad that our President has a very similar ego to North Korea's leader.

Congress should be much more concerned about Russia's actions against the United States first.

The idiocy of the globalist elite has to be how they got off the list in the first place. Until this country starts treating its people with respect and allows them access to the world information they should remain a sponsor of terrorism!

North Korea was removed from the list because they promised to end their nuclear program. They are not ending their nuclear program so they should be back on the list.

The mouth piece of China. I hated when Bill Clinton got us in bed with China. N. Korea is just an out picturing of China one atrocity linking with the other. A true dictator that's insane in the membrane. Just why do we tolerate or even allow his two suspicious satellites that violates law? It makes me cringe to think what's inside his piñata. Vaporize them send him a clear message his violations will not be tolerated. I really don't know how our President has the courageous ability to face each new day. Everyday we at Countable that do the research can see the infiltration, witnessing branches of government being put back where they belong, it's a messy house our most prized possession stolen being returned, restored and placed back on the mantel so all can view the CONSTITUTION.The snakes still slither about doing the dark prince deeds to keep the shackles tight. Every day I make my call to God rebuking and asking that they be bound up. If I'm a nutter then answer this. why do we have black witches casting spells every new moon. Personality's blatantly calling out the death of our U.S. President. The dressed in black protesters hiding their face destroying property, doing bodily harm. If one accepts this programming as normal then I'd rather be the nutter and not the norm.
