Women should be able to choose their place of business and opportunities because of their merits alone, just like men do. That's what equality's about.

Quit deciding women are such moronic imbeciles that we can't decide what career pursuits we can choose from. What an insult.

This is another progressive initiative to divide Americans, and is another tool in the war on women. As if women are not smart enough to choose their own path. This type of program, and others like it are saying women are not smart enough and need to rely on the government to "save" them. Yes, the country could benefit from female scientists, but they have to freely choose it without being pressured into it, or it is meaningless. It is a biological fact, the male mind is more suited to math than women, in general. This is not absolute, there are always exceptions. But male and female brains do not function the same. If they were truly equal, the brain matter would be the same color, but they are not. This is why women and men will never be equal at certain things. This isn't sexist, it's biology 101. But some don't care about biology, some only care about a political agenda. I'm not one of those. It's real simple, competition gets the best person for the job, wether that is a man or woman, and that's that.

Women don't need to be panderd to or have their hands held.

This should be occurring by NASA without us having to do a vote.

Women should be allowed to make up their own mind as to what career they want to pursue. I for one don't have a problem with NASA (for example) being dominated by men. I'm not against women in science, not by any means, but I personally think that the most important career a married woman can have is to take care of her husband, her home, and her children! That is as God intended. Our children are our most important asset, and yet too many married couples leave the raising of their children to day care centers or nannies. If you're not a Christian, I suppose that doesn't matter to you, but Christian parents need to make sure that their children are not being taught things that are contrary to the Word of God. That demands a lot of parental guidance and supervision. If we don't teach our children to follow Christ, the world will teach them not to! We can't afford to neglect that aspect of our children's lives, even if it means we can only live on one paycheck! After our children are grown and leave the nest, then that's another matter. But for the stability of the family unit, which is the bedrock of any society, women should not be belittled for choosing a career as a wife and mother! The Bible has this to say: “Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil All the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, And willingly works with her hands. She is like the merchant ships, She brings her food from afar. She also rises while it is yet night, And provides food for her household, And a portion for her maidservants. She considers a field and buys it; From her profits she plants a vineyard. She girds herself with strength, And strengthens her arms. She perceives that her merchandise is good, And her lamp does not go out by night. NASA needs to do its job not fuck around. If women want these kind of jobs they will do what is necessary to get them.

Just another waste of taxpayer $ and NASA employees' time. People interested in STEM degrees don't need any encouragement, regardless of gender or demographic info.

Women (and businesses) don't need the government to regulate the amount of women in a particular field of the workforce. We're fully capable of pursuing those careers if that's what we choose to do.

Let those that are truly interested go for it, why try to encourage our change kinds of people.

Let people decide their own paths.
