This bill would prevent the Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS) from getting paid until DHS has implemented a biometric entry and exit system to prevent people from illegally overstaying their visas.
A biometric system tracks people coming in and out of U.S. via borders, ports, or any other checkpoint using data like fingerprints, iris scans, or facial recognition.
As soon as the entry and exit system is fully implemented, the Secretary of DHS would begin receiving their salary again.
