The DEA doesn't care whether people who are in pain receive the medications needed to help them. Thousands of Americans have died in pain as the result of their jihad against pain medications. Time to take the DEA out of the business of intimidating physicians for helping their patients.

This legislation was tailor made for drug lobbyists who care a lot more about keeping the stock prices of their drug manufacturing companies high, than they do about solving the ever-increasing problem of prescription drug abuse.

Should make it illegal for a FDA employee to go to work for a pharmaceutical company for at least 5 years. It is amazing how much they get paid when they leave after approving a drug and then go to work for the drug manufacturer.

the Feds should be targeting big pharma, not sleeping with them!
Big Pharm must be kept in line and end lobbing mechanisms to Congress,
private should be private and gov should be gov and do not mix the two
Another way for congress to enrich themselves at the expense of the tax payer. Congress is a failure at conducting oversight.

If someone OD's, illegally sells their prescription, or comes to work high, that's on the individual or the doctor prescribing it to them. Government involvement in our health care has already shown to be a fiasco - why add to it? The government needs to get out everyone's business.
Big Pharma is already too powerful. I want this special interest groups political donations and influence to be limited if possible.

Yes this would help to better monitor the way that drugs are transported and cared after. as a result of this the amount of drug smuggling from pharmaceutical companies and thereby decrease instances of drug abuse and trafficking.
There should be a MUTUAL 3rd party who overseas EVERYTHING that has to do with ALL ASPECTS OF HEALTH CARE AND MEDICINE!!
