Please at least allow medical marijuana. In my fight with cancer I now know the positive medicinal properties! Don't deny those who can medically benefit! Great way to earn some income for our state as well!
LUMMA will serve so beneficial for so many people in the US. Weed as a medical substitute for prescription drugs will not only naturally heal many diseases but stop the danger of overdosing on prescription pills. No one has ever overdosed on marijuana. That is enough to want to pass that bill.
Marijuana has so many positive benefits to it. There are four worst drugs on the market that do what marijuana can do in the medical Market. Moving this classification would reduce our prison populations as well as our Community Corrections populations period that would free up government money for more positive spend it. It would also bring in strong income to local municipalities and federal government based on taxes. It would also take a significant amount of money away from the cartels and illegal drug dealers. The most important part of this is what I started with; the benefits for people's medical needs are priceless.
Marijuana is an excellent drug for many people, control pain, enduce eating, seizure control just to name a few. Making it legal would increase taxes . It needs to be reclassified it's not a doorway drug not like several prescription drugs.
This bill needs to be in front of Congress supported by real facts and data not made up facts and data created using only worst case scenarios. Need to have someone not controlled by the government or lobbiest against legalization to defend it and actually present the real facts.

I believe this I've sent letters about this in the past, but I'll say it again. We need to deregulate restrictions on the study and use of marijuana for MEDICINAL purposes. I am against recreational purposes, but think it may have some use for certain conditions and needs more research!
