Honestly the fact of matter is the United States of America currently contains an evident threat that laws are develop to defuse but is not enforced. Additionally, if it's the federal governments authority and Main due diligence to attend to ensuring our national security and protecting the American people than this manner must be addressed and be prioritized to end. You only have to look around the world to see what happens when borders are not secure. let common sense be prevalent on both sides of the isle. protect America by protecting our borders.

The border needs to be secured. Therefore, we should at the very least look into ways that we can improve border security. We should also look for a solution that streamlines and simplifies our current legal immigration system, so that individuals are not motivated to cross the border illegally.

Yes. The southern border is an easy entrance point for potential terrorists and criminals to flood in (if they haven't already).

I say yes but not necessarily for DHS. It might come better from border patrol itself. They know what threats are coming through our porous southern border than most other depts. in the government.
