Argument in favor

The public deserves to know why and where certain animals are considered endangered, and what the federal government is doing about it.

Information, especially information that would have such a minor probability of being abused, should always be free.

Knowledge is power. If more people knew which animals are endangered, more people can stand up and fight for these animals.

As much information we can put on the internet the better. This not only educates, but it could inspire some to make a difference.

Argument opposed

Publicizing information about endangered wildlife makes them vulnerable to poachers, and creates bureaucratic hurdles that delay their protection.

Why give those who mean or want to cause harm all the information on every endangered species. "Hey guys.....they're over here" yes it's important that we protect them and the information is needed but not necessary to share with the public if your real cause is to protect the species.
