Additional information from the intelligence community about the flow of foreign fighters to the congressional intelligence committee is vital to making sound decisions. This bill seems like common sense.

Ok folks. If this is being debated, or hasn't already been policy for decades, then our Congress is a group of inept, incompetent, corrupt idiots and should be replaced adapt.

There is no need for this bill because intelligence agencies already routinely compile reports on the number of American citizens and foreign fighters working with terror groups.

I'm retired military intelligence and I can say from first hand experience that this is too far down in the weeds for congress to concern themselves with. With multiple organizations in multiple countries the shear numbers of people congress would have to keep straight would be overwhelming. Imagine having the police report to congress about the whereabouts and activities of every street level drug dealer on every corner in the country now multiply that number buy all the countries in the world! Even if it was the only responsibility they had, and as Congressman it won't be! Then, what would they do with this information? It would still fall on the Military or one of the 3 letter organizations (CIA, DIA, etc.) to do something about any potential threats. Which is what they're already doing now! They don't need politicians peeking over their shoulder and second guessing them! This bill has STUPID, written all over it! Not just no but hell no!

Congress can't keep secrets. Also they shouldn't try to be in law enforcement--that job is part of the Presidents duties.

Reports are currently being made about this very issue, we don't need this "special" report, when it's already being produced.
It's hard to sit here and support this with out knowing the cost to implement. Especially, with the expediency to which it would take place.

Yes, the Federal Agencies receive direction from the Congress. Therefore Congress should be informed even if POTUS disagrees.
