Hell Yes we want to know especially when they try and sneak additional laws with them. The problem is by the time we see it it is already law. We cant trust out Senetors and reprsentitives

It seems likely that most of the current and past laws included in the Statutes at Large can be found somewhere in an electronic format, so this is unnecessary.

This is a case of wasteful spending. The information is already in plain sight on the internet already; I'm all for providing more information if the bill revealed information that is not available at all but putting what's already readily available in simply a different format is not going to make people suddenly seek out that information.

I thought this is the purpose of Countable. Past search on a need to know basis, only.

These should available in the most convenient way possible. There is no excuse for statutes to be only available by jumping through hoops or spending $$$. We are so fond of bragging about how great we are. Let's act great!

Definitely! In addition, there should only be one (1) subject per bill, no earmarks, written in clear, concise English that anyone can understand and posted on the Internet for at least 3 days BEFORE it is voted on.

We elect our representatives to serve our interests. This is one way to measure how they perform the job we've elected them to perform.
They should be available in searchable format before voting so people can review and express opinions
It's appalling that this didn't already exist our government system is based on an informed populace. Maybe this will help relive the bIlls of some of their pork
What a waste of time to go back and enter searchable text for repealed laws.
They are our elected representatives, so all the more reason that we are entitled to know what they are doing for us. Their work is not classified, so it should be made public.
It needs to be a law that you have to actually read them before you pass them.
Transparency is key to moving forward in legislative processes.
