I am asking my Congressman Emanuel Cleaver (MO-5) to help protect rural programming by lending his support as a co-sponsor to the Agricultural News & Rural Content Act of 2019 (H.R. 2682). Though the rural parts of the United States are the majority of the land mass, it is a minority of the population. There is an unique need for information in the rural areas for agricultural news that is not being met by the urban news companies. Please support Rural focused television, radio, and other agricultural focused news sources.
