Should the Feds Accept a Land Swap in Colorado (If It’s Offered)?

Argument in favor

This will lead to more acreage in the national forest, while also allowing the hotel and its patrons to enjoy another part of the forest. It’s a win-win proposition.

This certainly is a "win-win" scenario. This needs to also include provisions that will better ensure that BLM will act justly, fairly, and with the needs of civilians in mind over bureaucratic rulings and bylaws.

Appears to be a win/win for both parties and results in a cost reduction for the taxpayers.

Argument opposed

Does this really need to be legislation? Land exchanges involving federal agencies and the private sector should be handled through the public comment process.

Give all land back to the states. The BLM is not constitutional and the people that work for them act like mafioso.
