I want ALL GE/GMOs clearly labeled, so I can AVOID them! I don't appreciate scientists using people as guinea pigs, and that's what they're doing! They don't know what the long term consequences of their meddling will be!

Censorship is never the answer. I study Agricultural Sciences and Policy, I live and work with Plant Breeders who are doing incredible genetic engineering of plants and I support the technology, but the longer we prolong labeling products GMO, the more organizations like 'the non-GMO project' will profit over scared consumers who know they are being withheld information from and the more misinformation will proliferate. Why can't we label it and provide a website that presents the well researched sides of both debate rather than letting this misinformation and well intentioned (but counterproductive) censorship continue? Does anyone honestly think this is a question of "if" and not "when"? 50 years from now will we still not have it labeled? Let's get this over with so we can focus on far more important issues like creating a food system that works for everyone including our land base, for generations to come.

This should be automatic. All food should be labeled also. Consumers have the right to know where the food comes from and any manipulations.

What is the problem with wanting to know what we are putting in our bodies? It should not be a secret. I want to know what type of food, where it was raised, slaughtered, packaged etc. Gmo labeling as well as organic labeling matters also. Whether Gmos are good or bad makes no difference as long as we make the choice.

I demand to know how my food is produced and I support all efforts to label foods that are GMO.

This isn't about whether or not GMOs or particular ingredients are safe or good. All food should be thoroughly labeled; let consumers decide if they want to buy and eat it.

This supports the idea that GMOs are harmful in some way, which is absolutely untrue.

GMOs are not a black and white issue imho but labeling them should be a given!

Anything that informs the customer about what they're purchasing and allows them to make an informed position, I'm in favor of.

GMOS are safe and just the same as conventional fish. Go either the real facts and science and not alternate facts.

I'm on the fence on GMO's in plants because it's practically the same as crossbreeding. But this is for animals and I think it's a step to far right now.

This one is a bit hard for me, but I suppose with truth in advertising should also be truth in ingredients. Let the consumer decide what to do with that information
