The EPA is just like any other Federal Agency, it's far to big, cost to much and is sinfully inefficient. America and the planet can't afford another Gold King Mine disaster, like in Colorado.

States need to ignore HR 2042. Just carry on as usual. EPA will file a law suits giving the states time to stall in court. States should point out in court that clause in the 10th Amendment- The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. And if we are fortunate, our new POTUS will have appointed and installed a Conservative or two on the Supreme Court. Luckily, Conservatives can read while Progressive can only "feel good." Fight for state rights.

This legislation is just an attempt to delay and undercut regulations on carbon emissions — disguised as a measure to protect ratepayers. Cutting carbon emissions is vital to the future of our planet.

Above all else, Earth's environment MUST BE PROTECTED. It is the only environment available to us in the universe! I URGE you to vote accordingly.

We're already make far too few changes too late to combat climate change. We can't keep taking one step forward just to take another step back.
States need to be regulated with air pollution control. States shouldn't be allowed to just ignore the regulations to pollute our earth even more.
The EPA needs to be shut down. Implementing regulation based on the hoax of global warming should be a crime. The States need to be responsible for environmental issues within their boundaries. We are 18 TRILLION in debt. We need to cut agencies that are not needed. Stop spending!
The environment is something that should be left up to the states by and large.
The EPA should be removed completely. The EPA like most fed agency's, needs to stay out of state business. But we all know, this won't happen until we remove the power that liberals have had in this country since Obama snuck into office.
No, because even though is could potentially "hurt" the industry, we should be focusing of more renewable or alternate sources of energy. If we do that, we put the displaced workers into those jobs. I don't have any pity for the hyper wealthy that just want to protect their tax-less income. They need to meet the demands for a better future or get out of positions of power within the energy industry.
It's irresponsible to be more energy conscious at the cost of the economy and peoples lives. We still have to live.
The EPA needs to be dissolved! Agency Bureaucrats passing regulations with no Congressional oversight is ridiculous.
Isntt there a Governors Council/group that we could zero in on them also?
History has shown that states do NOT generally improve the environment - particularly if it impacts the bottom line.
This is about the longterm picture- our great-grandchildren should inherit the healthiest Earth possible. Oil isn't sustainable, but renewable energy on U.S.A. soil is.
Clear air is more important than letting dirty coal producers grab more revenue.
