Jewish communities in the U.S. and around the world are targeted for hatred and violence, and by strengthening the State Department’s Special Envoy to Combat Anti-Semitism in the the government will counteract such bigotry.

Yes and just saw something very disturbing I’d like addressed immediately Our tax dollars, 1.4 million dollars were given to a Rollmann farms in shawneetown, Illinois Please verify the photos of the racist sign posted on their property and if true, have our tax dollars returned

While the Special Envoy to Combat Anti-Semitism fills an important role, making it an ambassador-level position won’t make much of a difference. Alternatively, the position should be eliminated or left vacant.

NO, WE DO NOT NEED TO GIVE THE TRAITOR-IN - CHIEF NAZI SYMPATHIZER PRESIDENT THE POWER TO APPOINT SOMEONE TO SUPPOSEDLY MONITOR ANTI-SEMITISM AND ACTUALLY DO THE OPPOSITE! No need to “create” another patronage job for say, Jerad Kushner” to enable him to rake in big bucks EARNED by everyday TAX PAYERS. We have well established laws to counteract HATE-MONGERS ( like say Donald TRUMP) all we need to do is ENFORCE them!!!!

How about a general resolution to increase religious tolerance for all faiths?
Fighting anti-semitism is a very important thing that our country should be prioritizing. Protecting the Jewish people and all minorities from discrimination is an essential thing that our country should strongly be for.
While I appreciate what appears to be at least a superficial attempt to protect us, I would rather we stick with the separation of church and state. A strong separation of church and state will protect us more than any one antisemitic prevention personnel.
I would want the same thing if people were targeting my religious community and beliefs. So I vote yes.
This administration has done nothing to stop the violence against the African Americans, Hispanics,Latinos and LGBTQ community. Until they can do that, nobody should be special. Shut it down.
Sure, why not. But, not an Ambassador level position. This is a Willow-the-Wisp position, no teeth to control, just report back to the State Department.

We do not need to spend more money on this until we spend more money fighting racism in our own country. It seems pretty hypocritical to fight anti Semitic behavior abroad while we do nothing to fight racism here.
Trump cannot keep anyone in a position long enough for it to make sense. Take the money and put it towards our mental healthcare system and/or veterans causes.

BlacKkKlansman showed me, as an American Jew, how prevalent and dangerous anti-Semitism still is in the 21st century, even in America. The existence of the State of Israel does not mean that Jews around the world are safe from discrimination and hate.
