Beloved was a victim of a terrible land mine accident in Africa when he was a small boy. He has been in America receiving donated surgical help. During his stay in America he has volunteered At the charity that has provided his surgery assistance. He is working at getting his bachelors degree and looks to join the United States military to help the country that he now loves deeply He has been a hard worker since he's been here Please support this bill
Whatever your position on imigration you have to recognize that there are unique cases that need special attention... This is certainly, by any definition, one of those cases...
Beloved is an amazing American who's family is here. He has been through so much in his life and doesn't deserve to be put through all of this misery. He's built a life in America and it would be cruel to take that from him.
I have been host parent to Beloved for almost 10 years. I am in awe how much Beloved has flourished since his arrival to the US. He was virtually uneducated when he first came. We paid for a private tutor to school him. He finished grades 1-12 in 4 years. The prospect of him possibly able to attend college fueled his passion to educate himself. He told me that he thought he would never be able to attend college. It was just a dream for him. He is due to receive his AA degree either by Fall this year or for sure next year by June. He will transfer to 4 year university to finish his degree. He works as a security job right now and has been in that position for less than 6 months and he has already been trained to work as a supervisor. With his earning he has almost solely supported his younger brother in Africa through college. I had no idea he had been using his birthday money, Christmas money and money earned doing odd jobs around the house to put his brother through college. He has never asked us for additional support since he knew our family was fully supporting him 100% already. His support for his brother is a small glimpse of who Beloved is. He would be an outstanding US citizen as he already has been since his arrival to the US.
Please, please, please allow Beloved Jefeti to stay in our wonderful country. We know him and his sponsor family well. They are faithful members of our church in El Cajon, CA and have served and added much to those within our local community.
We need MORE young men like Beloved in our great country! He is dearly loved by MANY across this nation. Support for this beautiful young man stretches from coast-to-coast. Support us in supporting HIM! We need him HERE! He embodies the American Dream!
Beloved has gotten an education advanced in short time to college accounts and is as mush a Family member of the Tinney's as their own Children and Grace's Son's Uncle in her eyes. Let him stay here and become an American Citizen He has given back 100 times over to America
The privilege of becoming a U.S. citizen is reserved for those who contribute and help make a difference. I have observed the story of Beloved over the last 10 years while he has undergone numerous corrective surgeries. As you think of what the profile should and can be of who we welcome as a U.S. citizen, I ask that you include who Beloved has become as he has returned the favors given to him.
I'm glad I've gotten to know Beloved on a personal level. He's a great help with our church and one of the nicest guys I know. Beloved brings joy to everyone that knows him and he's a standup guy and has earned a place in many people's hearts. It would be a shame to see him leave after all he has done to help, and that he still has left to go through surgery wise.
I have known Beloved for the past four years. I have watched over and over again give of his time and energy to help love and serve others. I couldn't think of a better person to have in our community as he is constantly considering others more important than himself. Please consider doing the same for Beloved and help him stay in the United States!
This young man has become apart of my family almost a decade ago. It would be absolutely heart wrenching to have my brother torn away from our home. He is thee most amazing uncle to my son, loving, and beyond hard working. I find inspiration through him daily. Please allow him to stay and help teach my son the work ethic and gentleman-like traits he portrays.
