Keeping The TSA's Security Operations Off Buses, Trains, and Ferries

Argument in favor

Random screenings on public transit are unconstitutional. There is no evidence that having the TSA monitor ground transportation stops threats to travelers.

TSA can't even do a good job of airport security! They're abusive and incompetent.

You can't fly a train into a building, no need to let the TSA expand their reach.

Go farther. Destroy the TSA. They only exist to molest people.

Argument opposed

The risk of a successful terrorist attack justifies the use of these random screenings. National safety is more important than a minor inconvenience to passengers on buses.

Ridiculous! There should be a bill to change their name to KGB. More and more freedoms lost, wake up folks!

If TSA's work is unconstitional, then all searches should stop -- including airports. Otherwise we should continue their scope of work.

DO NOT INCREASE THE SCOPE OF THE TSA. You should be getting rid of it. We are 18 TRILLION in debt and we are not safer having them shove their hands in our pants at airports; much less anywhere else.

The TSA is unconstitutional. What they do is unconstitutional. Why is this Team Sexual Assault still a thing? They have a 95% FAILING RATE. which means a 5% rate of success. Come on....

This is way to extreme. Terrorism is not as big of an issue compared to gun violence in the United States. Having the TSA involved in other public transportation would be a nightmare, and it would show ISIS how their scare tactics are working. There should only be random screenings if someone made a bomb threat or some type of threat in a specific area, however, the screenings should be taken on by the local authorities.

TSA needs to be abolished, not expanded. They have yet been to stop anyone, the cannot find explosives when tested, and instead hundreds have been arrested for stealing from luggage. Archie Bunker was right, issue each traveler on public transport a gun, let them handle the terrorist

If they can't stop someone from bringing a gun on an airplane good luck with preventing someone from doing that on a bus.

DISBAND THE TSA!!! They miss 95% of the concealed weapons in penetration tests!!! They haven't caught a single terrorist!!!

The TSA hasn't caught a terrorist yet, although a few on watch lists do work for the TSA. No more should the general public be treated as a suspected criminal with out due process

Airports are hell already; let's not extend this to Amtrak, Greyhound, or private cars. Everyone will need"documents" soon

Would this be associated with drug sniffing dogs often seen in Greyhound terminals?

Team sexual assault needs to be out of the airport too. Let the private sector have it. They get hired off adds on pizza boxes. Not the way I want to hire my life's protection.

They can't have a full checkers at big airports like Vegas they'd three or two guys working and if you look at Albuquerque airport small and simple and take you about 10-20 minutes but Vegas depends on the number of tsa
