All Pre-World War One firearms should be considered collectibles, not weapons. People should be able to share their collections without fear of government intervention.

The bill would significantly increase the number of guns that could be owned without a permit or another form of registration. This would increase the chance of gun-related injury.

Everyone has to have a license to drive a car, right? Every year more people are killed by them than guns in this country, I think we should ban those!!
No gun from before 1913 is going to used during a mass shooting. This isn't pirates of the Caribbean. This is a standard update to antiques laws for museums and collectors benefit. We should be focused on the new weapons that can mow down a crowd of people and auto-aim with an iPad.
Most guns that are 100 years old are owned by collectors and historians. Besides most cost ALOT more than a modern firearm. I don't think a criminal is gonna spend $10,000 on an Colt Single Action Army. Besides they are way too valuable to actually shoot, if they still work.
You can't just change the definition of an antique because you don't agree with it. If an item is 50years, 100years or older then it's an antique. One day, an M16 will be an antique.
I believe those weapons in many cases are still fully functional, no?
